Completely addicted to her little giggles, especially when she talks about filming with Donghae. ♥ And she does an amazing imitation of Kyuhyun's vibrato, lol.

Namie Amuro’s Official Avex site has announced the title for the last of the twelve tracks to be included on her upcoming studio album. “FIRST TIMER” will appear on the still untitled set due for release on December 16th along with the previously announced, “WILD,” “Dr.,” “COPY THAT,” “MY LOVE,” “FAST CAR,” “LOVE GAME,” “The Meaning of Us,” “Defend Love,” “BAD HABIT,” “Steal my night,” and “Shut Up.”

Chinami Tokunaga, 17, and Yurina Kumai, 16, of all-girl J-pop group Berryz Koubou, were missing at the group’s shows in Nagoya on Saturday and in Osaka on Sunday. The remaining five members put on a dazzling performance but some fans demanded to know where Tokunaga and Kumai were. Inquiries later revealed that the pair were at home and have caught the influenza A virus.

The latest two cases mean that the whole group have had the flu recently, after captain Saki Shimizu, 17, Momoko Tsugunaga, 17, Miyabi Natsuyaki, 17, Maasa Sudo, 17, and Risako Sugaya, 15, all came down with influenza last month.

According to their agency Hello! Project, Tokunaga complained of not feeling well last Wednesday, and was told the next day at a hospital in Kanagawa that she’d need five days rest. Kumai fell ill last Friday while she was in Nagoya for the weekend’s show, and was diagnosed with influenza the following day.

Tokunaga and Kumai are scheduled to return to the line-up for their show at the Shibuya CC Lemon Hall in Tokyo this Sunday. A staff member at Hello! Project denied that the girls got sick from in-group transmission, and said they were infected separately due to their many appearances in public.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this community. I rewatched Nodame Cantabile (first season) and was so attached to Elgar's Violin Sonata which was played by Nodame and Chiaki when they went to visit his uncle in Episode 15.

Does anyone have this piece?

Would appreciate your help. Thank you in advance.
Group 2AM's Jung Jinwoon was confirmed lately for having swine flu.

On the 6th, a person close of 2AM said that when Jo Kwon was confirmed for swine flu, Jinwoon also had swine flu.

Fortunately, Jinwoon went for treatment with Jo Kwon that day and recovered from swine flu, not letting his team down in the schedules laid out for them. Especially with finals right around the corner, he is studying at a healthy state.

After hearing the confirmation of swine flu of Jo Kwon, fans were very sad but it is said that Jo Kwon will be back on broadcast at a healthier state. Currently on the show MBC 'We Got Married,' with Brown Eyed Girls' Ga In as a fake married couple, Jo Kwon cancelled all schedules upon hearing of swine flu.

On the other hand, 2AM's magnae Jinwoon is a fixed guest on MBC 'We Got Married' with 2AM member Im Seulong. Also, on the 7th is when SBS ETV 'Idol Magnae Rebellion Generation' will be broadcasted as he will reveal his hidden talents.

2PM 'Heartbeat' Sweeping Kpop Charts

  • Nov. 10th, 2009 at 3:31 PM

The beastly idol group 2PM's first official album's title track 'Heartbeat' is sweeping the kpop charts.

On the 10th, music site 'Monkey3' showed that 'Heartbeat' immediately took first rank the minute of its reveal. Many are showing attention to this feat as 2PM has yet to hold their official comeback stage and managed to land such a high place on the chart.

Not only 'Heartbeat' but 'Tired of Waiting' and 'I was crazy for you' have also been holding their solidified positions in the charts upon reveal, making many express feelings of amazement.

Monkey3 stated "With the revealing of the first two tracks, many have been anticipating 2PM's first album. It seems as if 2PM will be resurrecting the popularity of boy bands once again."

'Heartbeat' is a track with an addictive hook and an old school style rap that also adds in an orchestra, creating a dynamic track produced by Park Jinyoung.

2PM will be holding their comeback on the 13th at 6:40PM on KBS 2TV's 'Music Bank.'

Singer K.Will (28; real name: 김형수) 2nd single, “Hypnotism” has been decided by KBS not to be broadcast on their music show (KBS Music Bank). Their main reason to reject this song is because in the songlyrics, there is a phrase, ‘dumb’ that can be a sensitive issue to referring people with disabilities. KBS then decided to give a no-go for this song to be aired on their broadcasting network.

They were going to perform “Hypnotism” with featured rapper, Outsider as K.Will’s 2nd album 2nd single candidate. Alas, they have to make another decision as to pick another song to replace. According to K.Will’s management company, they said, “We have no intention of disrespect those with disabilities. The song doesn’t express the emotion of love itself as a metaphor for being ‘dumb’.” Thus, they have made a promise to take care of this issue with careful consideration.

Tokyo to bid for 2020 Summer Games

  • Nov. 9th, 2009 at 10:15 PM
Tokyo Gov Shintaro Ishihara said Monday the Japanese capital will bid to host the 2020 Summer Olympic Games and should Tokyo be selected, it will jointly organize the event with Hiroshima, which is also seeking to host the event. The remarks follow Tokyo’s loss to Rio de Janeiro last month in the race to host the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Hiroshima said shortly after Tokyo’s loss that the western Japanese city will seek to host the 2020 Summer Games with Nagasaki, both of which suffered U.S. atomic bombings during World War II, despite the Olympic Charter stipulating that only one city can host the Olympics. On Monday, the Japanese Olympic Committee welcomed Ishihara’s remarks about a fresh bid by Tokyo, with Vice President Tomiaki Fukuda saying, "It is truly great."

Another vice president, Masato Mizuno, said, "It has been common in recent years for a city to make several bids to host the Olympic Games. It is completely natural for Tokyo to make another bid."

Other cities interested in bidding are: New Delhi, Istanbul and Budapest. The IOC will announce their decision in 2013.

2009 Kpop Girl Group Report Card

  • Nov. 9th, 2009 at 8:59 PM
Melon.com recently did an evaluation on the current most popular Kpop girl groups. See what 'grade' did each one get!

girlgroups2009.jpg

A group with a somewhat familiarized concept, T-ara: B

T-ara was known for the song "A Good Person" before they debuted, and then came out with the song "Lies" as well as "T.T.L." and "T.T.L Listen 2" with Supernova. Up until "Lies" the concept wasn't anything new. The songs, style, and choreography were a general mass of cliches. While other groups were striving to break the mold, T-ara was outwardly cliched. The result was just not as good as their input.
Let's see who's the valedictorian of the class! )

Who is Charlie? No, Charlie is not a gun on Iris. Big Bang member TOP must have felt a little left out of the picture when he saw fellow members' dogs Gaho (G-Dragon) and Boss (Taeyang) as he has recently welcomed a little friend of his own into the Big Bang's puppy family.

On Christmas Eve two years ago, Masahiro Yoshida returned to his home to find it empty. His wife had fled with their 2-year-old daughter and was seeking a divorce.

Since then, he's rarely seen his child because law grants custody to only one parent — routinely the mother. His wife has refused to allow him regular visits, accusing him of emotional swings and past verbal and sometimes physical abuse.

'Ninja Assassin' misses the target

  • Nov. 9th, 2009 at 8:40 PM

Humorless, preposterous, and soaked in blood, "Ninja Assassin" turns out to be thinly-plotted schlock from a team of pedigree filmmakers who should have known better. "The day Rain did his first scene in 'Speed Racer,' the Wachowski brothers called me and said 'This guy is unbelievable. He's a natural, our dream come true.' We began to plan 'Ninja Assassin' immediately afterward," producer Joel Silver said in an earlier interview.

Unfortunately for "world star" Rain, what was to be his breakout film falls way short of what "Enter the Dragon" was for Bruce Lee. No doubt that was what the Wachowski Brothers were aiming to do by gambling on a relative unknown in the Western world.
