College is, by far, the most boring place in the world. Mind you, I go to Brooklyn College where the campus is one of the best in the United States. The campus is a place where I can be by myself under the big yellow sun and sleep if I so desire and to me, that's the best thing in the world. Today, it was cold and rainy but I fell asleep by the Koi pond with the light drizzle coming down on me and it was just...magical. I could have cried. Those are the moments I long for every day but unfortunately, most days I'm stuck in class or at the library. Big papers, big exams, big everything but do we actually learn anything? We spent three weeks on the Iliad. I learned nothing. I enjoyed the book, mind ya, it was interesting but who in the future will ask us about Achilleus? 

Maybe I'm being too harsh. But really....I was re-watching Nodame Cantabile yesterday. If anything, I wish I had that drive for music like Chiaki has. Or at least, a drive for anything really. I'm kinda just bouncing around the city. My big hope is to leave the U.S. and go to Japan, permanently if possible. Anywhere but here. The U.S. sickens me. That's right, Bush, it sickens me. 

What's this subway raise their talking about? Where are the repairs that have supposebly happened? Why is NO ONE saying anything about it? Do we all just accept it? Man...I need to cool down. 

My dog's causing mayhem. I'll vent more later.
